Paula Escudero
Paula Escudero grew up in the Basque Country and was raised in a musical family that always valued education and curiosity. This background instilled in her a lifelong love for learning and teaching. She is holding a bachelor’s degree in music from the Conservatorio Superior de Castilla y León and a master’s degree in music education from the university of Arts the Hague. Her teaching journey began in Mozambique years ago when she first started working as a Music teacher at a social project. Since then, she has accumulated a diverse range of experiences across different countries and educational settings including international schools.
She is particularly excited about the opportunity to join the RWIS community. When she first learned about RWIS, she was immediately drawn to its approach to education. The focus on holistic development, where students are encouraged not only to excel academically but also to grow as individuals, aligns perfectly with her own educational philosophy. The RWIS concept, with its emphasis on fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment, is something she is passionate about and eager to be a part of.
As a music teacher, she believes her greatest strengths lie in her ability to connect with students and her dedication to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. She strives to make learning enjoyable and relevant, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning styles of her students. She is committed to fostering a positive classroom culture where every student feels valued and motivated to do their best.
She hopes to create a music environment where kids get inspired and interested in music. Music has the power to enhance creativity, improve academic performance, and build confidence. By integrating music into the curriculum and providing students with opportunities to explore and express themselves through music, she aims to ignite a passion for the arts in them. Whether through learning instruments, engaging in music theory, or participating in school performances, she wants to foster a vibrant and dynamic music culture at RWIS. Her goal is to help students discover their musical talents and appreciate the profound impact music can have on their lives.
To help her students reach their full potential through music, she creates a supportive and inspiring environment where each student feels empowered to explore and express their musical talents. She sets high expectations while providing personalized guidance and encouragement, helping them to develop both their technical skills and their creativity. She uses a variety of interactive and engaging teaching methods, including hands-on practice, group performances, and exposure to different musical genres and cultures. In conclusion, she is excited about the opportunity to join RWIS and contribute to its vision. She is eager to collaborate with my colleagues and build meaningful relationships with her students and their families. Together, she believes we can create an enriching educational experience that will have a lasting impact on our students' lives.
